Welcome
K Sea Kayakers is a group of paddlers based in the Kansas City, Missouri area specifically geared towards sea kayaking on lakes and rivers in the Midwest. Our group organizes local paddling opportunities as well as longer monthly overnight trips to paddle locations within about a five hour radius of our home base in Kansas City. Explore Missouri, Kansas, Iowa, Oklahoma and Arkansas with your friends at K Sea Kayakers. New and experienced paddlers of all types are welcome to join.
Wondering where we have been paddling? In the past year or so we have been on: Beaver Lake, Blue Springs Lake, Council Grove Lake, Hillsdale Lake, Lake Jacomo, Lake of the Ozarks, Longview Lake, Melvern Lake, Pomme de Terre Lake, Prairie Lee Lake, Smithville Lake, Stockton Lake, Table Rock Lake, Tuttle Creek Lake, Wilson Lake, the Kansas River and the Missouri River.
Join us at the main launch ramp at Lake Jacomo on Tuesday evenings during the spring and summer months for kayaking fun and relaxation. See below to join us or for additional information.

The Tuesday Night Paddle
We paddle out of the north marina at lake Jacomo; the location is marked on the map above. A Jackson County lake permit is required and is available at the Blue Springs Lake, Lake Jacomo, Longview Lake Marinas or other locations as designated by the county. Baxter campground at Table Rock Lake has some of the best waterfront sites in the area and is a great place to explore this wonderful lake at the tail end of summer. |
